The founder of our company late Mr. K. A. Silva started Citronella Oil business in 1953 in the southern part of the Island, respecting the company's founding concepts. Since then Citro Essential Oils (Pvt) Ltd has become a locally and internationally respected company with the well-earned reputation as a leading distiller and supplier of high quality essential oils and natural products.

We are in the essential oil business for three generations, however our continuous growth comes from having our own plantations, distilling plants and out growers system based in the southern part of the country.

Our mission is to provide high quality essential oils to our local clients and international clients at reasonable price.

We also supply internationally sourced essential oils, carrier oils and fragrances such as Tea Tree Oil (Australia), Jojoba Oil (Australia), Lemongrass (Cochin) Lavender etc to our clients.

To expand our operations, our branch in Australia (Citro Essential Oils Australia) was established in 2008 to provide high quality essential oils to our Australian clients.
