Citronella oil is extracted by steam distillation. Its plant is a miracle of nature and a rich source of inviting smells from resilient grass grown in the southern belt of Sri Lanka. It is a perennial and aromatic plant that grows approximately one meter in height. Cinnamon Bark Oil

Cinnamon is large subtropical tree with fragment bark. Cinnamon bark oil has spicy hot scent and only small amount is needed in blending business. Cinnamon bark is widely used as a spice. Cinnamon bark oil traditionally used to treat toothache and fight foul breath.

Clove Bud Oil

Clove bud oil widely used spice and flavour ingredient. Clove bud oil is extracted from clove bud through steam distillation. Clove bud oil is known ideally for its anaesthetic properties. Its best used is in a diffuser or vaporizer to help to purify the air during the cold and flu attacks. Clove bud is widely used in balm and herbal medicine industry.

Clove Stem Oil

The oil extraction is based on the steam distillation with the use of clove stem as a raw material. Clove stem oil is the close replacement to clove bud oil. The oil has a dark yellowish colour that is compared to that of clove bud oil. Clove Stem Oil is widely used in soap, candle and perfume manufacturing industry.

Black Pepper Oil

Black pepper oil finds its source in the unripe red fruit of the plant. By application of this warming oil proper blood circulation can be achieved. Also finds it healing effect on bruise and provides toning of the aching muscles and limbs. Warmth provided in the application of this oil brings relief from arthritis. In vapour therapy the black pepper oil adds warmth to counter chill and cold.

Cardamom Oil

Cardamom oil find its source in the dried seeds of cardamom plant. It is extracted through a process of steam distillation. It can be used in baths, messages or in vaporizers aimed to achieve the warming effect. It is added in mouth washes as it contains antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus (Globulus)

Compare to global production, very small quantities produce in Sri Lanka. Eucalyptus oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of eucalyptus. Because of woody and medicinal aroma. It is use in domestically and industrially for cleaning, air freshening, washing, removing stains and as an insect and flea repellent.

Nutmeg Oil

Nutmeg oil is obtained by the steam distillation of ground nutmeg and is used widely in the perfumery and pharmaceutical industries. Externally the oil is used for rheumatic pain. In vapour therapy nutmeg oil can be helpful with the nervous system as well as invigorating and stimulating the mind.

Vetiver Oil

Vetiver is a tall wild grass within long narrow leaves and a stand of underground white, yellow and brown roots. Its oil is extracted by steam distillation from its roots. Vetiver is used widely in high-end perfumes. Vetiver is excellent oil in maintaining emotional equilibrium.
